Hi everybody!! We really appreciate those of you that have commented on our blog, please keep it up. We have been here three weeks now I can't believe it. We still have four weeks to enjoy and bask in this paradise. Today Amy and I took surfing lessons. It was the first time for both of us to surf. We went to a beach called White Plains. It is owned by the Military but open to all. The instructor that taught us (John) told us that it is just like a mini Waikiki but with out the crowds and great beach parking and access. John our instructor is a fire fighter and teaches lessons and life guards as a part time job. We know now why surfers have such good bodies! It is hard work! Amy did a really good job she caught and rode a bunch of waves but she didn't dare to stand up. I was able to ride a lot of waves as well. I did pretty good for my first time. I will definitely be surfing as much as possible before we leave. Amy and I were beat after going because it is a lot of work. Later.. Enjoy the pictures..

That is some FABULOUS hair on Tatum! Yeah, Steven and I planned on taking surfing lessons on our honeymoon in La Jolla, CA but I had a broken neck so that was off our schedule. Bummmer...so I'm jealous...HOW FUN?!!?

What an adventure! We are so happy to hear about Zach's job!! How awesome! We are staying here in Phoenix, so we'll be a lot closer to you guys--we are very excited about that! I have to ditto the comment about Tater's hair--wow. That is great! Have fun eating all the pineapples and we will keep checking back to hear about more fun times. Have a great weekend!

AMY! I have been reading these all along and have loved seeing your adorable face. I am convinced that your children are the most beautiful in the world! Congratulations on Zach's job offer. Such great news, I know you guys have been working toward that goal for a while now! Way to go!
Thanks for your comments. Zach and I look forward to reading them everyday. Yes, Tater's hair is crazy. Have you heard the poem, "There once was a little girl with a curl... right in the middle of her forehead! And when she was good, she was very very good, but when she was bad, she was horrid!" Well that is our Tatum. Like her hair, she can be especially sweet, cute, and lovable. But that can easily turn into craziness... but still cute. See you (some of you) in 5 weeks!
