Sunday in Hawaii

Hello everyone! First thing this morning we took a drive (gas is about the same here as it is in Utah!) up the west coast of Oahu. What a different look at Hawaii! It was like a shanty town: the beaches were covered with tents, cars, and tarps that people were living in. There was garbage everywhere, laundry hanging out to dry, coolers etc... Very sad. There were even little kids living there. Sorry we didn't get pictures. We went to the Ewa Beach 2nd ward, it was such fun. The people here are so spiritual. It's kind of weird being the minority but they make you feel right at home, Zach and I both had several people say, "you should move here! Don't go home." The rest of today we relaxed, scrubbed the nail polish off the carpet that Jonas so kindly painted for us, and relaxed some more. Don't forget to leave comments as we are very excited to hear from you!
