Getting our Feet Wet

On Day 2 we took a drive around the whole island. It's so funny because where we are on Ewa Beach is almost desert-like, there are cactus's on the side of the road. But on the North side of the island, it is a tropical paradise. We stopped at a beach and attempted to boogie board (Zach thinks he broke his pinky toe). We walked around the temple grounds and they were really beautiful. Then we vegged out at Sunny's for the rest of the day.
Day 3 of our stay here with Sunny and Dave was excellent and exciting. We brought the kids to the beach for the 2nd time, this one was a lot more kid friendly. it was a private beach for military personnel only. By the way: if you want to get everything at Hawaii for cheaper and get lots and lots of exclusive privileges, join the military!:) Tater wouldn't get in the water and clung to me for her life for the first hour, we finally got her to sit on the sand and play while the tide swept up under her feet. Tyger had a blast and asked to come to the beach every day.
