Hello Daisy, Goodbye friend
In March we got ourselves a puppy, she is a lab/pointer mix, and as sweet and lovable as she could possibly be. We have thoroughly enjoyed her. However, we did not have a fenced in yard for her to play in and our house is too small to support a medium sized dog; and the busier we have gotten, the less attention our sweet little Daisy was getting and I was experiencing more guilt about her than enjoyment. So alas, I place an ad on KSL Classified yesterday, and I was surprised to get several calls on her in the first hour. Surprisingly, her new owner lives less than a mile away from us and has been looking for weeks for just the perfect dog. Goodbye Daisy, we will miss you!
After tearing up everything in the yard, Daisy settled in for a nap in the cat bed.
Daisy's favorite place to nap: the laundry hamper

Tatumisms
1. Somehow Tatum decided Aunt Cassie is an angel, probably because we described both angels and Cassie as "Heavenly Father's Helpers." So the other day, Tatum was asking if Cassie was an angel. We said no. She asked "why?" We said, "Well, because she's not dead for one." Tatum shouted at the top of her lungs, "SHE'S NOT DEAD?!?!" Then she threw her hands up and clapped, "SHE'S ALIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!!!"
2. Tatum was lying in bed with me until Zach came in. She threw her little arms around my neck and said, "Mommy, when daddy comes in here, would you go over to him and..." "Yes Tatum?"
"Give him a wedgie?" After I laughed, I told her that she should give him a wedgie. She said, "We'll both give him a wedgie."
3. Tatum came into my room from bed because she "couldn't see Tyger or dad ANYWHERE." She said, "I'm pretty sure a monster ate them. I'll never have a dad again!" I told her they were probably out putting the dog to bed. She said, "Well then I'm pretty sure the dog ate them. I'll never have a dad again!"

A Tad Tired
I again had the internal debate to go private on my blog. Then I decided I'm a tad tired of blogging altogether. For many reasons actually, but mostly because I've lost interest in it. Which is actually a great thing if you know me, because I spend entirely too much time on the computer. Maybe I will spread my wings and get a hobby! However, I will wait to shut down my blog for awhile to make sure this isn't some rash hormonal decision. Oh and also I need to save and print all my stories. So much to do!

Happy Birthday, Tyger Jones!
Happy birthday my baby boy! Tyger is already 6 years old. The last 6 years have gone so fast! Too fast, sigh... We had an Indiana Jones birthday party:

We decorated snakes, had a yarn whip contest (not pictured), and decorated Tyger as a mummy. We had an awesome Indiana Jones cake that had an actual rolling boulder on it! The party was a blast, except I planned it for way way too long and so we spent a lot of time just running around playing, but the kids had fun anyway. Here are some pics:

This is how I found Tyger in the morning before the party: 40 degree weather, winter coat, shorts, socks, and flip flops. Thanks for raking the leaves Tygee!
