My Mommy: Best Artist Ever

My mom is the best artist around, and she won't show off for herself so I will do it for her. She has been an artist her whole life and finally went back to school in illustration these last couple of years. People in her classes (including teachers) were like, "why are you here?" Because it was so obvious she was already a professional. Her art has blessed the lives of everyone around her, including me and my family. She always gives the best gifts because she often gives us portraits she made herself and they are so beautiful. Thank you mom! You are inspiring! She has a new blog that has some of her artwork on it, so check it out! Click on the title link.

I'm It

Wynter tagged me! I'm going to try to answer for both Zach and myself.

What were you doing 10 years ago?
Amy: I guess that would be my sophomore year. I would have been driving for about 6 months in the green minivan. Working at High Mountain Drug, or was I at the Paper Outlet by then?
Zach: Zach would have been 20, so he would have been in New Zealand eating good food and preaching the gospel!

5 things on my to do list today:
Amy:
1. Clean the kitchen
2. Clean the front room
3. Get a hair cut
4. Prepare sharing time materials
5. Play with the kiddies
Zach:
1. Get through work
2. help clean the house
3. Do whatever Amy tells me to do
4. Pay bills
5. Play with the kiddies.

Things I would do if I suddenly became a billionaire:
Amy:
I would buy a whole bunch of property (acres and acres), put the perfect cottage style house on it, complete with home theater, recording studio, art studio, play jungle for the kids etc... Maybe have a little petting zoo on it or something. And of course, daily housekeepers, and an errand runner/nanny. Private art lessons, voice lessons, piano lessons. I would set up an affordable housing community for the hard working degree holding citizens, such as nurses or teachers, because I feel like they deserve affordable housing and are highly contributing members of society :). I would open a hospital and staff it 3 patients to 1 nurse. I would probably offer a few scholarships etc..., I would pay off both of my parents houses, and each sibling would get oh, $100,000 to help them get started IF they wanted it. But Jane Holly and Addy would have to finish college first. Then I would go on lots of vacations all over the world. I would probably open a few schools, orphanages, and water wells in 3rd world countries. I would also invest a large portion in lucrative business so that I could continue to make money.
Zach:
Probably the same as me, only his would include touring with his band, New Zealand, personal trainer, something with guitars.

2 of my bad habits are:
Amy: Wearing PJ's/lounge clothes around the house all day, spending too much time on the computer.
Zach: Pretending not to know how to do something--to get out of doing it, not having simethicone tablets on hand at all times. :)

5 places I have lived:
Amy:
1. Bennion, Utah
2. Francis, Utah
3. Orem, Utah
4. Logan, Utah
5. Las Vegas, Nevada
Zach:
1. SLC, Utah
2. Unincoporated Summit County (Kamas), Utah
3. Aukland, New Zealand
4. Orem, Utah
5. Logan, Utah
6. Las Vegas, Nevada

Jobs I have had:
Amy:
1. Server: Hi Mt. Drug, Bangkok Thai
2. Various retail: Paper Outlet, Jockey, Motherhood Maternity, Carters, Guess, 6-star, Michael's
3. Telemarketer for the Daily Harold
4. Mother
5. Nurse
Zach (he literally could probably name 30):
1. Brick layer, stone mason
2. server
3. various retail
4. conference set up guy
5. teacher

5 things people don't know about me
Amy (wow this will be hard after my 100 Amy facts)
1. I am kinda enjoying my CTR5 calling, actually
2. I want to read all of the classics, including shakespeare and others
3. I haven't watched a rated R movie in over a year. I even rented one I really wanted to see from netflix and returned it without watching it.
4. I used to collect Kermit the Frog stuff
5. no longer collect and wear weird socks. White socks are much easier to find mates to..
Zach:
1. He makes the best hot wings you will ever taste ever.
2. He wants a puppy- probably a lab.
3. He broke our blender last night making orange julius.
4. He has never interviewed for a job he hasn't got.
5. He claimed he dated a girl with man-hands long before Seinfelt came out with the term.

Let's Go Fly a Kite!

Yesterday we went kite flying at this neato park. The park was about 5 miles away from our house and is much better than the park right by our house as there is no marijuana plants growing in it. That's right, marijuana in a children's park... viva Las Vegas baby!
