Ride Like Ty

Saturday Cassie and the Thackers invited us to a walkathon here in Las Vegas. The cause was Leukemia. It was a good way to remember Tyler and support the cause to find a cure for blood cancers. It was a neat site to see hundreds of red balloons with blinking lights paraded around the UNLV campus, the city lights in the background. Tatum was funny when that mascot came to say hi, she just looked at it with this frightened look on her face for like a whole minute, then without taking her eyes off it, she said quietly, "help." By the way, we have posted a lot the last couple of days lately, so check out the posts below in case you've missed them!

Workin' at the Car Wash, Yeah!

Tyger and Tatum helped daddy wash the car on Friday. They were soaked, soapy rags were thrown at eachother, there was crying and fighting, but the car got washed! (And the tires filled, as you can see). Our silly little Tyger, he pronounces "Heavenly Father" like: "Henny Fodder." He told us the other day, "Mom, my teachers [at preschool] don't know Henny Fodder. They only know Harry Potter." We can just imagine those teachers going, 'why is this little boy always talking about Harry Potter?' Ha ha!

The Goaty

Hello one and all!
Once again, Zach is trying to grow a goatee. He thinks this is a monumental event but as we all know, he tries to grow a goatee at least twice per year. The other day he was asking the kids and I what we thought of his goatee, and Tatum asked, "Did you throw up daddy?" (I can't tell either). Just kidding. It is coming along quite nicely this time! I have also included a picture of a weird guy we saw on the side of the street by the outlet mall today. Oh and since it is the trend to post when your kid does something naughty, I've included the picture from the other day when Tatum snipped holes in one of my favorite outfits of hers. If you look close, she is sticking her hands through the hole in her shirt.

Update

Hi everybody! We have been so busy lately. Zach's job is going better, he is getting used to disciplining and having no classroom. Amy's job is going well, she is almost through with training and then will be on her own!!! Very scary. We look forward to when we feel settled in our jobs. It's so hard to be new in our fields! The kids are doing great, still potty training Tatum. I'll post pictures as soon as we find our camera battery.
